Babak was born in Tehran and is based in Stockholm. Babak studied film producing at Lund university (2010-2012) and holds masters in film directing from Stockholms school of dramatic arts (SKH).
His work has been shown at Berlinale, SXSW and Rotterdam film festival to name a few.

Irene studied animation at Konstfack (2003-2005) and graduated from the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (2012-2015) with a Bachelor of Arts in Documentary Filmmaking and (2021-2023) with a Master in fiction direction. A selection of films include: Killing R, 2024 (official selection Göteborgs film festival 2024), I wanted a family, 2021 (Awarded at Tempo Short doc) They call me Navy, 2020, Pinocchio Without a Nose, 2012, (awarded Tempo New Doc) and The Brightest Star (2005, awarded 1:st Prize at the November Film Festival).
